Morning On The Three Sisters
The rich warmth of the early morning sun really saturated the colour in this image. The rocks seem to almost glow with the hues. The horses don’t mind, they are used to it, and go on eating. The horses belong to one of the many families of Navajo that live in Monument Valley, adding to an already colourful scene.

Three Sisters And Clouds
The Three Sisters are an iconic landmark in Canmore and have been featured a number of times on this blog. It is always a good feeling seeing the Three Sisters and knowing that I’m not too far from home.

The Other Side Of The Sisters
Not my usual view of the Three Sisters at Canmore, Alberta. I liked the crepuscular rays coming over the mountains.

Shoot Where You Are
The Three Sisters are a Canmore icon. We had been in town running a few errands when the light started to turn on the peaks. We had just exited Canadian Tire, so Sherri jumped in the truck to warm up, and I grabbed my camera and tripod from the back. I set up on the sidewalk in front of the store and this was the shot that I made from there.
