Coulee Creek
On the Southern Alberta prairies, the hills along the rivers in the area are known as coulees. Caused by erosion over many years, they shape the land. Most are dry for most of the year, but this one has enough runoff water to support a year round watercourse. It helps keep the grasses and plants in the bottom green.

Clouds over a small pond overlook the prairie aspens as the leaves turn a golden yellow colour.

Recently, I read a discussion online about oversaturated images that abound on the internet. I’d just like to say, that this isn’t one of them. I didn’t go anywhere near the saturation slider. Sometimes you are presented with a scene that is amazing just in and of itself.
