Steam Motion
There really is nothing like standing next to one of these monsters. The piston fires and the flywheel spins, and the whole unit shakes. I hoped to convey some of the action by capturing some of the movement by blurring with a slow shutter.

Metal tracks can be very rough and give a harsh ride. Someone has added wooden planks to the track pads on this machine.

Tires are an expensive part of maintenance of farm machinery. As they age, the rubber becomes less pliant becomes cracked and weathered. It makes for interesting patterns.

Everyone knows the familiar yellow construction equipment. This was the original Caterpillar logo. It was used from 1925 to 1931 and I suppose represents a creepy crawler.
