White House Ruin
The White House Ruin was one of the locations I had to see on our trip the Four Corners region. We were unable to take our tour in the bottom of Canyon De Chelly due to high winds. I shot this image from the south rim of the Canyon. I found out about this location by studying Ansel Adams prints in school.

I don’t remember the first time I saw the above image, but it had to be more than 30 years ago. Ansel Adams has been the inspiration for me as long as I’ve known about photography and for a lot of my travel over the years. This year was the first time I visited Grand Teton National Park. (more…)
