Flame Over Fog
There are parts of Vermillion Lakes that are open in the winter, due to a warm spring feeding the lake water. When the thermometer drops, the mist rises off of the water. The clouds are lit by the setting sun and have turned a brilliant red/orange. It doesn’t matter when I visit Banff National Park, I always find something great to photograph.
