Aurora And The Travelling Clouds

We decided to go out again chasing the Aurora. This time it was about 16 miles out of town. The forecast looked good and the prediction seemed favorable. When we arrived we were a little disappointed. I could barely see any colour with my naked eye. The nearly full moon may have contributed to the faintness of the hoped for aurora. This image is a composite of 2 frames both were 90 second exposures, that managed to capture some of the color in the sky.With the wind moving the clouds, they turned streaky in a minute and a half.
