Forms and Textures

Coyote Canyon, Brimhall Nizhoni, NM

It’s been a few years since our trip to the Four Corners area of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah.

With a few new tools in my arsenal, I’m revisiting the images taken then. Here are two that I’ve reprocessed using Nik Software’s Silver Efex Pro 2. Nik’s SEP2 is my favorite monochrome image conversion tool.

The above image is from Coyote Canyon, New Mexico, part of the Navajo Nation. Taken just off of a main road, the rock formation is one edge of a wide wash that deepens to the south.
