Snow And Trees

I was riding with Dave Brosha in Banff National Park, and he saw a tree! Seriously, he saw some trees that he wanted to photograph so we stopped on the side of the road.

I was feeling less energetic and shot the blowing snow from the car window.

One Tree, Two Trees

Earlier, I found these two trees poking out of the deep snow. I was hoping to bring out the contours in the fresh fallen snow and highlight the depressions in the snow.

  2. While these are both great, you can almost feel the cold in that first image. Love that blowing snow. Nicely done!

    • Thank you pinkshamrockphoto, it was actually colder when I took the second image. The trees blocked some of the cold wind in the first.
