Sam’s Ten Tips–#7–The Long And Winding Road
Earlier this year I attended an Oopoomoo.com workshop in Trochu, Alberta at the historic St Ann Ranch. The workshop was named Badlands, Buicks and Old Buildings and our instructors were Darwin Wiggett and Samantha Chrysanthou. One of Sam’s presentations was called Ten Tips. Here’s my take on her exercises.
The Long And Winding Road
Roads have highly symbolic power, so try to incorporate the many paths and roads that slice through the prairie landscape into your visual stories.
Although it isn’t very winding, the road runs down the bottom of the Red Deer River valley. It seems to match the angle of the river itself, which does wind. The skies weren’t very interesting that morning, so I focused on the greenery and small rolling hills.
All of Sam’s Ten Tip are named after song titles.
In the best light…
