Sam’s Ten Tips–#3–One Is The Loneliest Number


Earlier this year I attended an Oopoomoo.com workshop in Trochu, Alberta at the historic St Ann Ranch. The workshop was named Badlands, Buicks and Old Buildings and our instructors were Darwin Wiggett and Samantha Chrysanthou. One of Sam’s presentations was called Ten Tips. Here’s my take on her exercises.

Morning Windmill

 

One Is The Loneliest Number

You can work single subjects either in the landscape – a lone tree or building for example – or silhouette them against the sky.

I chose a single windmill silhouetted against the sky just before sunrise.
