Smoke Get In Your Eyes


And In Your Pictures

Crandell Shoreline

The view across Crandell Lake in Waterton Lakes National Park was a little smoky.

It isn’t bad, I’m  usually a fan of the super sharp image, but the softer image is nice too. The smoke was not very bad that day. You couldn’t smell it, for example, while it did affect your long shots.

Red Rock Bridge

The smoke was more pronounced at Red Rock Canyon. It made for interesting color casts on the water and in the skies. With the fall colors, the smoky sky gives a light that creates a very warm image.
