Sherri In Jasper 2008
I’ve been using Nik Software’s Snapseed on my iPhone for nearly six months now. A couple weeks ago I received notification from Nik that they were releasing Snapseed for Windows. Well, I looked at it one week and bought it the next. I was hoping that the simple interface would be easy to use for my wife, Sherri, but ended up having a lot of fun with it myself.
I pulled this image out of the archive when looking for another image. Sherri had gotten a too much sun that day and her face was quite red. The color balance was off as well, with the main light coming from the incandescent bulb in the hotel lamp. So I adjusted the brightness and contrast, then converted to monochrome, and then added a Vintage filter to get a bit of a sepia color. I toned down the other filter effects, before adding a fine white frame.
