Glenbow Moonrise

Glenbow Moonrise

We are back to our outing at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park near Cochrane, Alberta. As with Monday’s post “Fence Lines” the landform is the major subject in the frame. This time there is a prominent S curve traversing the hill, and the full moon. I was able to underexpose the frame enough to retain some detail in the full moon. This created a more moody scene with the farm buildings on the hill and the dark sky behind them. You can barely see the wispy clouds with a tint of color from the setting sun.

In the best light…

  1. Nice pic….the light of full moon is very special. Sometimes, when the sky is clear of cloud coverage, the moon is so bright.
