More From The Holga Hustle

The Hustle Begins

More pictures from Darwin Wiggett and Samantha Chrysanthou’s Holga Hustle held at Lake Louise on May 7, 2011.

The group gathers in front of the Parks Canada Info Centre at Samson Mall. The above shot was taken on expired Kodak Gold 100 film with my old Nikon N2000 camera using a Tamron 17mm f/3.5 lens. The image is a little soft, maybe I was a little rusty on the manual focusing?

Gentlemen (And Ladies) Load Your Holgas

Everyone is getting ready and loading their cameras. Note the discoloration from the old film.

This Is Film!

Switching camera bodies, this time it’s my Nikon FM with a Tokina 80-400mm on Kodak Ektar 100. while Darwin expounds on 120 film.

Darwin & Linny

Back to the N2000 and 17mm, this time with Kodak T400CN Black and White C41 process film. Darwin demos Linny, his Lindhof 6×12 panoramic camera. This time nice and sharp with excellent tones on the B&W, too bad Kodak has discontinued this film. Hopefully their newer BW400CN will do as good a job.

Do you have an old film camera that’s been neglected? Why don’t you take it out for a spin?

In the best light…
