Fantastic But Not So Fabulous Film Friday
The old Sandstone building in Didsbury, Alberta is always an interesting subject. A little bit less camera shake would have improved this image greatly.
The old Ansco that I was using certainly could benefit from the use of a tripod. The Kodak Portra 160VC 120 held up very well with excellent color rendition.
Again camera shake comes in and softens the image at the museum.
Full Disclosure: Film cameras must be advanced. You can see a ghost of the barn from the next location where I shot. It is so easy from shooting digital to forget the mechanics of shooting film. With film, mistakes have a fixed cost. You have to learn quickly.
So, try shooting some film, it’s an interesting change of pace.
In the best light…
