Seeing The Trees For The Forest, At Night

Tree Light

The Cochrane Camera Club was lucky enough to have Darwin Wiggett and Samantha Chrysanthou out to do some instruction on light painting. These are my images from the night.

The images mostly speak for themselves. The cabin below, I lit the front and Darwin lit the trees, the others were lit mostly by myself and with the help of my wife, Sherri.

All of the others were single images, the above tree is a 3 shot HDR image.

My only funky processing was this shot using Nik Software, Color Efex Pro 3, Polaroid Transfer. Otherwise all of the images were processed using Nikon Capture NX2.

It was a great night and a lot of fun. My thanks to the people from the Cochrane Camera Club who organized this event.

In the best light…
